Easts Womens named Premier League Club Champions
In a great honour for the club Easts Women were named Womens Premier League Club Champions for 2010 at Football Brisbane’s Gala Awards night. This is a culmination of a sensational year from our Reserve Grade side only losing one game and a very consistent performance from our Premier side finishing 3rd. It wasn’t that long ago that Easts were struggling to field two competitive sides and needed our Reserve players to constantly backup to play Prems. We hope those days are a distant memory and the Womens in 2011 will be even a stronger force. This award is for all the Women players and Coaches that believed in the Mighty Tigers and stuck with us year after year even when the results weren’t good.
